Super first week, super kids!

We truly had an amazing week of getting to know each other and our class routines. I'm looking forward to a full week next week and getting into our regular schedule! Below are some pics of how we rounded out the week:

of Daily 5 - Word Work. 

This is one activity that students

Our class has 5 simple rules:

Students got to meet Mrs. King. She will be 

teaching them Science on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We'll have Social Studies on Mondays and Wednesdays.

We reviewed what we need for a strong paragraph:

We also reviewed ABC order by working in teams 

to get word cards in order. I loved watching all of the teamwork in action:

 In math, we reviewed the base ten blocks because 

we'll start place value next week! 

                                     

This was a fun way to review drawing the base 10 blocks 

and how to write numbers in expanded form.
