Today we continued our exploration of rounding (SOL 3.2). We learned two new strategies to help us round numbers...we used number lines and we learnied the Rounding Rap. The rap goes along with the CUBA strategy that we learned yesterday:
Circle the digit in the rounding place
Underline the digit to the right
Baby or bully? (Is the underlined digit a baby (0-4) or a bully (5-9)?)
Add zeros (to right of circled digit)
Students make GREAT teachers!
