Since it was Digital Learning Day today, I wanted to try something new with technology.
Students demonstrated their understanding of possessive nouns by using an app on the iPad called Educreations. They took a picture of something in the classroom that showed ownership and then typed a sentence about their picture. Next, they recorded themselves reading the sentence, underlining the possessive noun, and explaining how they knew that the underlined word was a possessive noun.
