We have a busy week ahead!

- Scholastic book orders are due by Friday - order online if you can! If your child hasn't redeemed his/her book coupon from Christmas, they can use them on this or any future book order!
- Donuts with Dads is this Thursday morning from 8-9 in the cafeteria!
- Book Character Day is coming up on March 4th - be thinking about which character your child would like to portray. A letter will be coming home this week that explains the short presentation that will include character traits and role in the book.

Reading Strategy/skills: Summarizing fiction, cause/effect, antonyms

We're continuing our exploration of fractions (SOL 3.3). This week, we'll learn how to compare fractions and about equivalent fractions. Encourage your child to continue practicing multiplication facts because they have to cross-multiply when comparing fractions with unlike denominators. There will be a fractions unit test on Friday. Remember IXL is a great resource to use at home to practice all math skills! Login info is on inside cover of student agendas.
